Meet The Corset Styling Team
Jodi Mayers – Owner & Lead Stylist
Jodi’s belief is that Corset Styling should be a place where women of all ages and body types can find something unique and flattering. While her calling didn’t find her until later in life, Jodi’s professional experience in sales, marketing, and consulting perfectly prepared her for this role. A thorough understanding of the importance of first impressions and the theory of dressing appropriately for your audience drives the core of her philosophy. “You don’t have to spend a year’s salary on a wardrobe that can fill an entire room. Instead, it’s about making educated and strategic decisions on pieces that are versatile and project your individuality.” Jodi is the wardrobe stylist for KSTP’s Twin Cities Live, as well as the go-to fashion advisor KARE11 News at 4 and the Saturday Morning Show. She has been tapped regularly to speak on working wardrobe strategies for businesses including General Mills, the Minnesota Wild, and Super Valu. Jodi has enjoyed the privilege of emceeing fashion events for organizations such as Angel Foundation, League of Catholic Women, and Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Foundation. Jodi is a graduate of the College of Saint Benedict and currently sits on their Board. In her free time, Jodi sings, dabbles in writing children’s books, and enjoys Sundays with her husband Paul and dog-daughter Bou. Jodi also sells a custom and ready-to-wear men’s clothing line called J. Hilburn. This additional service allows her to offer the same convenience and style for men. Amy Copeland – Team Lead & Assistant Buyer
Amy has been a member of the Corset family for years. As a valuable contributor to both vintage and new Corset, she brings tremendous worth to the business and our clients. Amy is the continuity to ensure what made Corset great still exists today, and any changes being made only further enhance the products and services we offer. Amy’s role as a super-mom gives her a unique perspective on what women with busy lives and families expect from a shopping experience. Her training and experience in social work helps her relate to a wide range of people, which is evidenced when customers ask for her by name. Amy is pleased that her work as a fashion advisor to friends and family has blossomed into a career that allows her to help women look and feel their best. Her leadership, fashion sense, and pleasant demeanor made her the obvious choice to serve as one of Corset’s stylists. Amy is a graduate of the College of Saint Benedict. Outside of Corset, Amy is a committee member for her daughter’s school fundraising events, likes to read, and enjoys the outdoors with her friends & family.
